Contemporary Pakistani Printmakers
As part of our year long programme a touring exhibition was organised: Contemporary Pakistani Printmakers, which began at Oriel Ceri Richards, Swansea from 14 January to 4 February 2006. After this period the exhibition toured to St Donats Arts Centre, Vale of Glamorgan from 6 February to 24 February 2006 and to Sultan Gallery, Lancaster from 27 February to 31 March 2006. The exhibition returned from the Asia House in Jan 2007 and has now completed its UK tour.
Supporting the Contemporary Pakistani Printmakers exhibition is a tri-lingual exhibition catalogue, which is published in English, Welsh and Urdu.
The exhibition and supporting material provided a specially appointed Outreach Team with a resource for teaching, informing local children, students and community groups about contemporary approaches to printmaking under the theme of 'Image and Symbol and Text'.
